Pearl of Great Price PN 1. SHULEM principal waiter of Pharaoh (BofAbraham facsimile 3:5)

Cf. Sahidic Coptic PN šōlm (in list of names, Crum, Dictionary, 560a); Bohairic Coptic šōlem, a verb of unknown meaning (Crum, 560a). Val Sederholm notes Hugh Nibley, Abraham in Egypt, 451, in which he calls Shulem a "good Syrian and Canaanite" name; Ebla PN's Database gives the reading “Reconciled.”[1]
