Etymology

This name seems to consist of two elements, see and zoram. The latter is known from other names, including the self-standing ZORAM, for which see the same below. The first element, see, could be related to the Hebrew independent demonstrative pronoun zeh, giving the possible meaning β€œthe one of ZORAM.” Also possible, though unlikely because it would mix languages, is EGYPTIAN s3, prefix for β€œson” (JAT).

Unlikely is a derivation from the EGYPTIAN PN Zoser/Zeser (LID, 28) because the consonants do not correspond.

Cf. Book of Mormon ZORAM, ZEEZROM, CEZORAM, EZROM/EZRUM, ESROM, SEANTUM, et al.
