Discussion: Joseph Smith probably pronounced this name with a stress on the second syllable, which made Cowdery stop spelling it with the ''r'' at the fifth occurrence. Given the spellings above, there is strong evidence for an ''o'' not an ''a'' for the third vowel. There is evidence for the ''r'' before the ''h'', although Cowdery may have written it so because of the following -''or''. There are no names in the Book of Mormon that have the ''rh'' sequence, but there are some with the ''nh'' and ''mh'' sequences.
