Lehite noun Silver currency, ca. 82 BC (Alma 11:6, 13, 22, 25)

No etymology is suggested.

The Semitic root could be *ʿnt/ʾnt or *ʿv̄n / ʾv̄n, neither of which seem to fit.

Cf. Book of Mormon AniAnti, et al., LEHONTI
