LAISH is the name of an ancient town in the upper Jordan Valley mentioned once in the Isaiah section of the Book of Mormon but not mentioned as a separate PN or GN in the Book of Mormon. LAISH was taken by members of the tribe of DAN and renamed DAN (Judges 18:14-31).
