Discussion: Spelled Jershur (perhaps because of preceding -er sound), then immediately corrected by Cowdery in O. This is the only time Jershon was ever misspelled in O; Cowdery only misspelled Jerson once in P, where in Alma 28:1 he spelled it as Jeshon.

Summary: These two variantions are just scribal errors; maintain correct Jershon.
