OT JEREMIAH is Hebrew yirmiyyāh(û) "YHWH exalts," or yarēmay, from the causative jussive 3rd sgl middle weak verb[1] = NT KJV Jeremias, Jeremy (Matthew 16:14; 27:9) = LXX Greek ieramei(m). "YHWH founded."[2] The form that appears in the Book of Mormon is the English form of the Greek.
