Etymology

Hebrew bĕnĕ-yaʿăqōb "sons of Jacob" (Malachi 3:6=3 Nephi 24:6).

Gentilic of JACOB (the gentilic "-ite" form is the equivalent of the Hebrew/Semitic -iy = î).[1]
