Etymology

The GN GOMORRAH refers to an ancient city south of the Dead Sea that, along with Sodom, was destroyed by God. It occurs in the ISAIAH section of 2 Nephi with reference to the biblical city but does not refer to a separate Book of Mormon GN or PN.
