Lehite GN		City, ca. 1st century AD (3 Nephi 9:8)

Perhaps the name comes from the EGYPTIAN gmgm, “smash, tear up, break trees,” and nw, “city,” to be compared with the city kipkip/kibkib (Coptic gibgib), “hacked 
up, destroyed” (RFS). Nibley mentions the EGYPTIAN city kenkeme.63
