Lehite PN 1. Scribe, son of JACOB, and father of JAROM, between 544-420 B.C. (Jacob 7:27; Enos 1:1, 5, 6, 11, 17, 19; Jarom 1:1)

Etymology

KJV Enos was the son of Book of Mormon prophet Jacob. The PN ENOS is from the HEBREW ʾĕnôš "men, humankind."[1] Matthew Bowen argues for a wordplay at the intorduction of ENOS as son of a just "man" ʾĕnôš.[2]
