Etymology

KJV Enos was the son of Book of Mormon prophet Jacob. The PN ENOS is from the HEBREW אנוש ʾĕnôš "men, humankind."[1] Matthew Bowen argues for a wordplay at the intorduction of ENOS as son of a just "man" ʾĕnôš.[2]
