Etymology
No reconstruction of a Vorlage for DESOLATION is suggested. NEHORS is a plural genitive construct of a PN. Similar genitive constructs with NEHOR, but not in the plural, appear in Alma 14:16 & 18; 15:15; 16:11; and 24:29. On the PN see NEHOR below.
