Etymology

CHALDEANS (Hebrew kašdim) is the plural gentilic of Chaldea (or Chaldaea), a name only attested in the ISAIAH passages of the Book of Mormon. Chaldea and Chaldaea are not attested as names anywhere in the Book of Mormon.
