Variant spelling of BOAZ
Mormon 4:20
- P: Beaz > Boaz/Beaz
- 1830: Beaz
- 1837-1981: Boaz
- Discussion: The scribes often wrote their o's so they looked like e's, so it is difficult to decide which word was intended. The 1837 edition has Boaz though, after the biblical name, so that is the more likely choice.
