AMORON

Nephite PN		Soldier, late 4th c. AD (Moroni 9:7)

Amoron is most likely a late variant of the earlier Amaron or Ammoron. See the same for a discussion of the etymology.

Notes
It is unlikely that the a vowel is a prosthetic aleph (RFS) because there is no consonant cluster to force a helping vowel.
