Discussion: Joseph Smith probably pronounced this name with a stress on the second syllable, which made Cowdery stop spelling it with the r at the fifth occurrence. Given the spellings above, there is strong evidence for an o a the third vowel. There is evidence for the r before the h, although Cowdery may have written it so because of the following -or. There are no names in the Book of Mormon that have the rh sequence, but there are some with the nh and mh sequences.
Summary: Skousen thinks the correct spelling is probably Parhoron, and if not then Pahoron
