See CHALDEANS. Only the King James Bible and the Vulgate have used different spellings for the name of this people. The King James has CHALDEES in Isaiah 13:19 and CHALDEANS in Isaiah 48:14, 20. Neither the Hebrew text nor the Septuagint nor the Wycliffe Bible nor the Matthew Bible nor the Geneva Bible spell the names differently.
