Variant spelling of GIDGIDDONAH
-Mormon 6:13 P: S2 Sidgiddonah > S1 Gidgiddonah
Discussion: Scribe 2 wrote Sidgiddonah, which Scribe 1 corrected to Gidgiddonah in P. In Cowdery's handwriting, a capital G often looked like a capital S, and so Scribe 2 must have misread it. Cowdery corrected the name, and the 1830 edition also had a G, which also seems to agree with the name Gidgiddoni.
