Discussion: Irreantum was immediately changed to Irreaantum, then later back to Irreantum in O. This is perhaps because Cowdery inserted another a when he thought he had missed the ''a'' in the word, but later realized he had not, and corrected it. This spelling, Irreantum, is also consistent with other Book of Mormon names, such as Neas and Teancum. | |||
