Biblical PN 1. A king of ancient SYRIA (2 Nephi 17:1, 4, 8 = Isaiah 7:1, 4, 8; 18:6 = Isaiah 8:6; 19:11 = Isaiah 9:11)

Etymology

REZIN is the name of a king of ancient SYRIA mentioned five times in the ISAIAH section of the Book of Mormon but not mentioned as a separate PN or GN in the Book of Mormon. The name is from the HEBREW consonants rsn.
