Lehite PN 1. GADIANTON robber-chief, between 1 and 30 AD (3 Nephi 3:9, 10, 11, 12; 4:5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14 (x2))

Etymology

See the discussion of GID. The last part of the name, either -ANHI or IANHI remains unexplained.

See GID, GIDDONAH/GIDANAH, GIDGIDDONAH, GIDGIDDONI.
