Variant spelling of JAROM

Joram

Jarom 1:14
P: Joram
1830-1981: Jarom

Discussion: Spelled Joram by Oliver Cowdery in P, as a mere switching of vowels. This could be done because of JORDAN, or the less familiar biblical name Joram.

Summary: Joram is a mere scribal error; Skousen accepts Jarom.
