Etymology
If the name is to be divided into anti- and -omno, the first part of this PN, anti, may be the same element as in ANTINEPHILEHI. See the same for a discussion of anti. The second element, omno, could be from a root such as ΚΎmn, βfaithfulness, firmness; craftsman, maker,β or ΚΏmn, with a 3m.s. pronominal suffix. Thus, ANTIOMNO could mean βfacing his faithfulness.β
Cf. Book of Mormon ONTI(ES), ANI-ANTI, ANTION, ANTIONAH, ANTIONUM, ANTIPARAH, ANTIPAS, ANTIPUS, ANTUM, ANTINEPHILEHI, AMMON
