Ahman is a proper name: “the Great God has a name By which He will be Called which is Ahman,”[1] as used in the GN Adam-Ondi-Ahman (D&C 117:8,11), or Adam Ondi Awmen,[2] which may be derived from hypothetical Sumerian *Á-DAM/a2-dam - AN.TI/an-ti/til3 - Ahman “Habitation of the Living-God-of-Heaven, Ahman.”
Variants: AWMEN, AWMAN, AW-MAN.
