Biblical GN 1. An ancient Near Eastern city (2 Nephi 20:9)

Etymology

ARPAD is the name of a city (probably located in the northwestern part of modern SYRIA, north of Aleppo) mentioned in the ISAIAH section of the Book of Mormon but not mentioned as a separate PN or GN in the Book of Mormon.
