Smith|RFS]]), similar to the gentilic “[[ISRAELITES|I<small>SRAELITE</small>]].” 

Much less likely is an archaic form of the [[HEBREW|H<small>EBREW</small>]] for “to me,” “for me,” “mine.” This would also be unlikely as a name ([[Jo Ann Hackett|JH]]).
